Demoiselle Crane (Grus virgo), another rare visitor for Bulgarian Black Sea coast. Today, April the 16th 2011 I had fabulous views of an adult Demoiselle Crane foraging in a ploughed field near Durankulak Lake. First, the bird has been observed two days ago near Shabla Tuzla lagoon, some 20 km south from Durankulak. Five years ago, 18 March 2006, a flock of 12 migrating birds was seen at Shabla Tuzla.
